Day 01
Arrive Cochin airport & transfer to hotel. Evening witness Kathakali
dance performance in Cochin.
Day 02
City tour of Cochin. Evening is free for shopping in Cochin.
Day 03
Drive to Calicut & check in. Day free to relax in Calicut.
Day 04
Visit Calicut including Pazhassiraja Museum, Art Gallery & Kappad beach
- a historic beach where Vasco Da Gama landed in 1498. The art of Uru - Arabian
Trading vessel bulding is a tradition over 1500 hrs & you can witness
& buy some of them being built from local shops. Stay in Calicut.
Day 05
Drive to Guruvayur - the temple town. Visit Punnathoorkotta - home to 50 Elephants.
These temple Elephants are decorated for various festivals. Most important
of them is Thrissur - where Elephants are decorated with gold ornaments. Stay
in Guruvayur.
Day 06
Drive to Munnar (hill station). Arrive & check in. Afternoon witness the
beauty of the nature at it's best in Munnar.
Day 07
Visit Eravikulam National park, Anaimudi - highest peak of South India. Afternoon
visit to tea plantations. Evening is free in Munnar.
Day 08
Drive to Periyar (Thekkady). Scenic drive through tea & spice plantations.
Arrive & check in. Later proceed for a wildlife cruise on the Periyar
lake & witness the wildlife which surrounds the lake. Stay in Thekkady.
Day 09
Drive to Kumarakom - most scenic backwater destination on banks of lake Vembanad.
Arrive & check in. Evening is free to relax in Kumarakom.
Day 10
Today board your houseboat for overnight stay. Get close up view of the country
side, quite lagoons & rural Kerala preserved through ages hidden from
the road.
Day 11
Drive to Kovalam beach. Arrive & check in. Day free to laze around Kovalam
beach.
Day 12
Full day excursion to Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari). Visit Padmnabhapuram Palace
& Kanyakumari - the tip of the peninsular India where 3 seas - Indian,
Arabian & Bay of Bengal meet. Later return to Kovalam.
Day 13
Departure transfer to Trivandrum airport for flight to onward destination.
